Test Card mock-up on BBC-1's "Life on Mars"

About half way through the first episode of BBC-1's new series "Life on
Mars", there was a brief glimpse of a test card - supposedly on a telly
in 1973. This was a mock-up of the famous Test Card F, but with some
technical details missing, and a different model in the centre picture.
I wonder if she is the daughter of one of the show's producers?

I have put a frame grab on my web site:

I wondered about that too, but just assumed there might be some legal
reason, perhaps to do with the subject of the original, who is, after all,
a real person who is now grown up and may have opinions on the matter. You
are almost certainly right about the identity of the girl in the one used
in the drama - she will be the daughter of somebody involved in the
production, certainly nothing to do with engineering like the original.

I think she the original girl, Carol Hersee, got totally fed up and
pissed off with being "the girl on the Testcard".

Now a mother of Two I believe!.....

They have made the mistake of not putting the x in the centre of the
card.
