Discussion:
Have they shortened the Friday night CiN programme?

I did not watch the CiN programme last night but did notice that it
seemed to finish at 22:00h.

I thought usually it switched to BBC2 at 22:00h whilst the news is on
then return to BBC1 after the news and continue to about 01:00h with
perhaps a pre-recorded programme after then.

Or am I confusing with one of the ##### Relief programmes?

No, your original comment is correct, but the still
(apparently/allegedly) managed to raise north of £33m!

There does seem to be an unlimited supply of virtue signalling left-wing
morons, doesn't there?

I pay more than enough tax - charities can go fuck themselves.

Perhaps they have found that they do not get as many donations late in
the evening so best to concentrate elsewhere.

It's been scaled back massively. 30+ years ago it went on till 2am.
I remember being on an OB in Plympton just outside Plymouth in 1990
in a vile evening of p*ssing rain and we were doing our final wrap-up
at 01:30.

It got cut progressively to 1, then 12, and now they don't bother after 10.
Before they shut TVC, they could get people out of the west end shows
to come and do a bit late at night, but that's obviously not viable
since the relocation to Elstree as it's too far away/takes too long.

All the regional content has been canned too. I forget when we last
did anything. Probably 2019, due to Covid, and quts.

That's "TC", not "TVC", the greatest broadcasting hub in the world, which
was destroyed by fucking accountants.

TK was on the 2nd floor, FR was in the basement

Forgot about them getting people from West End shows, are there no other
studios in Central London that they could use? There always seems to be
a lot of cooperation from other broadcasters with CiN.

Scotland seemed to do something between 22:00h and 23:00h

I have no idea, but they seem to be disappearing.
TC1's still in the same place it always has been. But if they used that
then there wouldn't be any excuse to ship Strictly off to Blackpool. Ah...

Are the TC studios still on long-term hire to ITV?

Only TC2 and 3. TC1 is used for a number of shows, for all channels

I thought it had been broadcast from MediaCity, Salford, since
2021?

About the only regional involvement appeared to be the children's
choirs, which were not synchronised live this time.
