I am fairly new to using Ubuntu and dual boot with Windows 11. There seems
to be a problem streaming videos online. I know that the BBC iPlayer can't
cope with Linux, but other methods are also very shakey. I use the same
browser 'Opera' for both systems. Maybe I need separate drivers for Linux,
I was thinking the browser did all the work.

The BBC claim iPlayer works with Firefox (Latest version) or Chrome
(Latest version)using the "latest version" of Linux. There is no date
shown for when the page was last updated, so goodness knows which
versions and distributions they tested it on, so it may work on Mint or
Debian, but not on Ubuntu, or (Pick a random distro)

It may be an idea to check your link reliability and speed by pinging
their server.
