Why on earth are you simulcasting studio pictures of a radio phone in on
BBC News?

The only added value is the occasional phone footage of the contributors
and the hourly video news bulletin.

Is the budget really that tight?

I guess they are emulating talk radio/tv. Seems a bit pointless.

It was also on BBC 2 until they and BBC News switched to cover the
parliamentary committee studying what went wrong with the police at the
coronation.

Not that they updated the programme guide, of course.
